Photo illustrating the news item

This news item is for EU citizens wishing to enrol in a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme beginning in the 2024/25 academic year.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a non-EU citizen already residing in Italy with a residence permit that allows university enrolment, then you, too, must follow the relevant procedures referenced here below. However, non-EU citizens requiring a visa follow different procedures.

If you are an EU citizen, then your enrolment procedures and deadlines depend upon whether your chosen programme required you to take an entry test or not.
The information provided here below apply as well to candidates who are citizens of the following countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the Swiss Confederation, the Republic of San Marino and the Vatican City.

ENROLMENT IN A DEGREE PROGRAMME WITH AN ENTRY TEST
If you wish to enrol in a programme that required you to respond to a call for applications and take an entry test, then your enrolment procedures and deadlines can already be found in the relevant call for applications (spring or summer).
These calls for applications are available on the programme-specific web pages on www.unive.it under the “Enrol tab” in the “Admission” section.

ENROLMENT IN A DEGREE PROGRAMME WITHOUT AN ENTRY TEST
If you wish to enrol in a programme that did not require you to take an entry test, then the enrolment window depends on your study level:

  • Enrolment in a bachelor’s degree without an entry test: this can take place from July 1 until September 30 without a late fee penalty, or from October 1 until October 30 with a late fee penalty of 50.00 €;
  • Enrolment in a master’s degree without an entry test: this can take place from July 1 until September 30 without a late fee penalty, or from October 1 until December 17 with a late fee penalty of 50.00 €.

To help make sure things go smoothly, though, here are some quick tips!

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO ENROL AND YOUR STATUS IS “ACCEPTED” OR “CONDITIONALLY ACCEPTED

  • DO check this email account regularly for our upcoming communications about the enrolment procedures and then follow these instructions with care

WHAT NOT TO DO IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO ENROL

  • DO NOT register independently on www.unive.it if you are enrolling in a degree programme WITHOUT an entry test; your registration as a new student will take place automatically further along in the enrolment process, and so if you register independently, it could complicate and delay the completion of your enrolment
