ENROLMENT PROCEDURES FOR NON-EU CITIZENS REQUIRING A VISA - 2024/2025

Non-EU citizens requiring a visa who have been accepted to a programme of study for the 2024/2025 academic year must complete specally dedicated enrolment procedures.

EXCEPTIONS: If you are a non-EU citizen already residing in Italy with a residence permit that allows university enrolment, then you must follow the enrolment procedures for EU citizens.

The enrolment window for non-EU citizens requiring a visa will be opened around mid-July and will close on 17 December 2024. For now all you need to do is keep your eye open for updates and instructions by regularly checking the email account with which you registered your application on apply.unive.it.

  • DO check this email account regularly for our upcoming communications about the enrolment procedures and then follow these instructions with care

WHAT NOT TO DO IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO ENROL:

  • DO NOT read the instructions found on the “Admission” section on the page dedicated to your chosen programme of study on www.unive.it; these instructions are for domestic students whose entrance qualification was obtained in Italy
  • DO NOT register independently on www.unive.it; your registration as a new student will take place automatically further along in the enrolment process, and so if you register independently, it could complicate and delay the completion of your enrolment
