ITALIAN LANGUAGE TEST FOR NON-EUROPEAN APPLICANTS 2024/2025
Ca’ Foscari University of Venice has organized Italian language tests for the 2024/2025 academic year for students who need to confirm a B2-level knowledge of Italian. Participation in the Italian language tests is free of charge.
Non-European applicants who have applied for a degree programme taught in Italian without any of the Italian B2-level language certificates recognized by our university must take and pass an Italian language test before being able to complete the enrolment procedure.
Candidates who already hold a recognized Italian language proficiency certificate with at least a B2 level do not have to take the Italian language tests.
Check the Recognized certifications webpage for more information (scroll down to the bottom of the page).
If you do not already have a recognized certificate, you must register online to take the Italian language test. Candidates can register for and take the Italian language test even if the evaluation of their applications is still ongoing.
The exam consists of both a written test and an oral examination.
To pass the exam applicants must get a passing grade in both parts, but they have access to the oral examination only if they get a passing mark in the written part.
