ITALIAN LANGUAGE TEST FOR NON-EUROPEAN APPLICANTS 2023/24
Non-European applicants who have applied for a degree programme taught in Italian without any of the Italian B2-level language certificates recognized by our university must take and pass an Italian language test before being able to complete the enrolment procedure.
Ca’ Foscari University of Venice has organized Italian language tests for the 2023/24 academic year for students who need to confirm a B2-level knowledge of Italian. Participation in the Italian language tests is free of charge.
Candidates who already hold a recognized Italian language proficiency certificate with at least a B2 level do not have to take the Italian language tests. Check the Recognized certifications webpage for more information (scroll down to the bottom of the page).
If you do not already have a recognized certificate, you must register online in order to take the Italian language test. Please note that candidates are able to register for and take the Italian language test even if the evaluation of their applications is still ongoing.
Ca’ Foscari organizes three (3) online sessions and the exam consists of both a written test and an oral examination.
In order to pass the exam applicants must get a passing grade in both parts, but they have access to the oral examination only if they get a passing mark in the written part.
