ITALIAN LANGUAGE TEST FOR NON-EUROPEAN APPLICANTS 2022/23
Non-Europan applicants who have applied for a degree program taught in Italian language without any of the Italian B2 level language certificates recognized by our university, must take and pass an Italian language test before completing the enrolment procedure.
Ca’ Foscari University of Venice organizes Italian language tests for the 2022/23 academic year so to check B2 level of Italian language.
Candidates who already hold a recognized Italian language proficiency certificate with at least a B2 level, do not have to take the Italian language tests. Check the Recognized certifications webpage for more information.
The relevant applicants must register online in order to participate in the tests.
Please note that candidates might take the Italian language test even if the evaluation is still pending.
We have planned three (3) sessions in which candidates are required to take and pass a written online test AND an oral exam (to be taken via Skype) on the following schedule:
15-27 April 2022: online registration
2-6 May 2022: online written test
11-12-13 May 2022: Skype interview (the exact schedule will be communicated via email after the written test)
17-29 June 2022: online registration
4-8 July 2022: online written test
12-13-14 July 2022: Skype interview (the exact schedule will be communicated via email after the written test)
2-14 September 2022: online registration
19-23 September 2022: online written test
28-29-30 September 2022: Skype interview (the exact schedule will be communicated via email after the written test)
Please note: online tests will open at midnight and close at 12:00 PM CEST.
Skype interviews will be scheduled for applicants who take the online test only and they will be communicated via email at the end of the online test sessions.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ONLINE TESTS
Applicants must register online by filling out this form.
Registered candidates will be contacted and will receive information via email on how to access the platform for the online test and a syllabus with information about the content of the exams.
We recommend applicants to register as soon as possible.
All successful applicants will receive a letter stating that their Italian language assessment has a positive outcome and might use it to apply for the Italian visa for study purposes (if required) and for enrollment (only at Ca’ Foscari University).
Please note that only accepted or conditionally accepted candidates will receive the above-mentioned letter.
If an applicant does not pass the test, it’s possible to take it again in the next sessions.
