CHAT WITH AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT!
Have you been wishing for the chance to ask a current international student all about what it’s like to study at Ca’ Foscari and live in Venice?
Well, you can! You can take advantage of our service called “Chat with an International Student”. It allows you to reserve a 20-minute one-on-one video chat with one of our international students in order to get the low-down on the Ca’ Foscari student experience from the kind of person who knows best!
HOW TO RESERVE A VIDEO CHAT
To reserve a one-on-one video chat, click HERE.
On this reservation page, you will first need to make use of the link provided to generate a virtual Italian tax code – you need this in order to register for a call (TIP: when you need to indicate your place of birth, insert the country, typing its name in Italian very slowly so that the pull-down menu appears. Then you can click on the right one! So, GERMANIA instead of GERMANY!).
Once you have registered and chosen a slot, you can ask the system to send a message to your email or your phone.
HOW TO JOIN YOUR VIDEO CHAT
Video chats will take place via Zoom using a link we send you 3 days before your appointed chat time. All you will have to do to join the call at the appointed time is click on that link! Please note that all times indicated will be CEST, so be sure to note the time difference for you in order to be available at the right moment.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A VIDEO CHAT
Do keep in mind, if you decide to reserve a chat slot, that these chats are NOT a means of obtaining information about administrative procedures or the pre-evaluation or assessment of your online application (if you need help with issues like these, please write to email@example.com). The video chats ARE about getting to ask a current student everything you’ve been dying to know about what it’s like to be a cafoscarino!
And don’t forget that you can tune in to international student life at Ca’ Foscari any time by checking out our international students’ Instagram account @studentlifeinvenice.
Sending our best,
The staff of the International Office
