Other requirements | This is an open admission programme without an entry test. However, applicants must have a sufficient knowledge of mathematics, logic, and reading comprehension skills, which we assess via an online written test called the TOLC-I. The test is offered by the test provider CISIA, and it can be taken in English or in Italian. Applicants can register themselves independently to take the test on CISIA’s website, choosing one of the dates on which the TOLC-I is offered is offered in the preferred language and paying a test fee of 35 euro. Applicants are encouraged to register for and take the entry test before enrolment in the programme. Those who do not sit the test before enrolment OR score less than 17 out of 41 (considering only 10% of the score obtained in the Sciences section and excluding the English section) will be assigned an Additional Learning Requirements, or ALR, in mathematics and logic (Obbligo Formativo Aggiuntivo – OFA). The ALR must be satisfied by the end of the first year of study (deadline of October 1) by passing an exam. If this does not occur, it will not be possible to register for or take any of the course exams included in the programme’s study plan. |

Overview
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
This degree programme trains you to be a professional with a strong interdisciplinary background and knowledge of processes, service management, production chains and plant engineering with a focus on the standards required for the ecological transition according to the new European consensus on environmental protection.
The first year of study provides you with basic skills and a strong foundation in mathematics, physics and chemistry, while the second and third years introduce greater specialisation with coursework related to the environment, energy, ecology, chemical and process engineering, sustainable design and process life cycle analysis, environmental law, IT applied to the monitoring of production chains, and chemical and biochemical plant engineering.
