Minimum 3-year bachelor's degree (or higher)

A minimum three-year undergraduate degree is required.
NB: Not all international undergraduate degrees allow enrolment in a master’s degree programme in Italy.

Admission to this programme requires you to:

• satisfy the specific minimum curricular requirements (so, to be an eligible candidate, your previous university studies must be coherent with and relevant to the coursework of this master’s degree programme); and
• possess a minimum CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average); and
• take an online written entry test.

PLEASE NOTE: The minimum requirements described here below were approved for the evaluation of candidates applying for admission in 2024/2025. The requirements for admission in 2025/2026 will be updated here as soon as they are available.

MINIMUM REQUIRED CGPA
Admission to this master’s degree programme is subject to the satisfaction of specific minimum curricular requirements and the possession of a minimum CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of 70%. To determine how your past academic performance compares to this minimum percentage, it will be numerically quantified based on the official numerical grading scale used by your home institution, if you provide it.
NB: In the absence of a numerical grading scale, your grades will be proportionally transformed into a standard numerical percentage.*

MINIMUM CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS
In order for you to be an eligible candidate, the academic content of your previous university studies must be coherent with and relevant to the coursework of this master’s degree programme.
More specifically, you must have obtained at least 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System credits) or the equivalent in the following fields:

• At least 12 ECTS in: Economics; and/or Business
• At least 12 ECTS in: Statistics; and/or Mathematics
• Computer Science and Information Processing Systems (optional)

In order to determine if you satisfy these curricular requirements, the programme’s Teaching Committee will evaluate your undergraduate transcript of records and examine your CV.

ONLINE WRITTEN ENTRY TEST
This is a limited-admission programme that requires you to take an online written entry test.

• EU applicants must register for and take the entry test by responding to one of the available calls for applications, which will be posted in the Admission section of the programme’s official web page. On this same page a sample test is available. There are two selection rounds, each with its own call for applications: one in the spring (call published in March) and one in the summer (call published in June).

• Non-EU applicants requiring a visa must take the entry test organized for non-European students, which is governed by the Guidelines for admission to the master’s degree programme in Data Analytics for Business and Society (DABS) for non-European students requiring a visa. The guidelines regarding admission in the 2025/2026 academic year will be posted here as soon as they have been approved. In the meantime, feel free to consult last year’s guidelines.
