Overview

This programme allows you to achieve proficiency in an Asian or North African language and helps you acquire an in-depth knowledge of the economic, legal, historical and political aspects of the relevant geographical area.

You will also acquire a knowledge of sociolinguistic and communication processes as well as a familiarity with IT and electronic means of communication.

PLEASE NOTE: In mid-March 2024, with the official confirmation of the university’s academic offer for the 2024/2025 academic year, the curriculum “Lingua, economia e istituzioni del Giappone” will change its name into “Giappone”.

Programme structure

This programme includes the following components:

  • course work
  • curricular internship
  • final thesis

You can request to spend one or two semesters at a partner university through Ca’ Foscari’s exchange programmes.
Your curricular internship can be carried out either in Italy or abroad.
