Overview
This programme provides the skills you need to become a historian or a curator in an archive, library or museum by exploring the history of cultures and religions as well as anthropology and sociology.
The programme equips you with a complete knowledge of reading methodologies, preparing you to analyse different types of literary, documentary, archival, iconographic and monumental materials as well as the survey techniques of studies focusing on primary sources.
These skills are essential for professional training in the fields of communication, teaching and the dissemination of academic knowledge, and the programme helps to further their development with workshops organised in museums, archives and libraries.

You can apply to carry out the double degrees outlined above, which would involve spending one of the two years of study at our partner university. Alternatively, you can request to spend one or two semesters abroad through Ca’ Foscari’s exchange programmes.
