Overview

Do you want to become an expert in the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage?
This programme prepares you for this by teaching you how to carry out technical and scientific investigations in order to understand what causes the deterioration of artistic, architectural and archaeological artefacts, to identify the appropriate restoration methodologies and to draw up conservation plans.

During the first year, you acquire core competencies in chemistry, physics, mathematics and the history of art; in the second year, you participate in analytical and physical chemistry labs to master dexterity and gain hands-on experience by participating in restoration workshops, which continue in the third year.
