Are you looking for an education that empowers you to understand, analyse and interpret social, political and economic issues as interconnected phenomena?
If so, then you’re a good fit for this Philosophy, International and Economic Studies program, which provides a solid logical-philosophical grounding, a familiarity with international cultures and realities, and a basic knowledge of the tools used to analyse the macroeconomic context, market behaviour and economic factors.
By developing your critical understanding of philosophical, political and economic texts and helping you acquire the skills you need to be able to gather and communicate information about the globalisation, the program prepares you to identify and shape solutions to some of the complex challenges we are facing today. You can apply to carry out the double degree mentioned in the overview above, which would involve spending one of your three years of study at a partner university. Alternatively, you can request to spend one or two semesters abroad through Ca’ Foscari’s exchange programmes.
Your curricular internship can be carried out either in Italy or abroad.
Career opportunities
As a graduate, you’ll be ready for employment as a consultant in the international economics field or to practice a profession in international relations thanks to your specialized knowledge of economic-political phenomena and national institutions.
You could work at either national or regional governmental agencies, at chambers of commerce, at international institutions (OECD, World Bank, UN, etc.) or at private companies (for example, as an export manager or manager of international relations).
