PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

This European, American and Postcolonial Language and Literature degree allows you to deepen your knowledge and understanding of the languages, literatures, and cultures of specific European, American or postcolonial contexts thanks to multiple study paths that allow a focus on French, German, Iberian, American, Slavic or Balkan studies.

You develop both an advanced knowledge of the literary history and culture of your chosen focal region while simultaneously strengthening your skills in one of the languages that you study. As a result of collaborations with foreign universities that even allow you to obtain a joint/double degree, the programme is markedly international in nature.

Explore this programme’s study plan (Study > Study plan > Enrolled in the 2023/2024 academic year > English Studies)

DOUBLE DEGREE AVAILABLE
There is another curriculum called English and American Studies available. It is reserved for students of the European Joint Master’s Programme in English and American Studies. You can apply for this curriculum on a different portal managed by a consortium of partner Universities (Study > Double Degree in English and American Studies) during the 3rd/final year of your undergraduate studies.

Please note that the English and American Studies Curriculum is different from the English Studies path of the Literatures and Cultures Curriculum.
