MINIMUM REQUIRED CGPA Admission to this master’s degree programme is subject to the satisfaction of specific minimum curricular requirements and the possession of a minimum CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of 70%. To determine how your past academic performance compares to this minimum percentage, it will be numerically quantified based on the official numerical grading scale used by your home institution, if you provide it. IMPORTANT: In the absence of a numerical grading scale, your grades will be proportionally transformed into a standard numerical percentage. MINIMUM CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS In order for you to be an eligible candidate, the academic content of your previous university studies must be coherent with and relevant to the coursework of this master’s degree programme. More specifically, you must have obtained at least 36 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System credits) or the equivalent (no less than 20% of your entire coursework) in the following fields (all indicated fields are mandatory): At least 6 ECTS in Law At least 6 ECTS in Economics At least 6 ECTS in Contemporary History; History of Islamic Countries; History of Eastern and South-Eastern Asia; and/or Economic History At least 6 ECTS in: History of Economic Thought; History and Institutions of America; History of International Relations; History and Istitutions of Africa; and/or History and Istitutions of Asia At least 12 additional ECTS in one or more of the above fields A minimum B1-level knowledge of a second language is also required for admission. The languages that are accepted depend upon the curriculum you choose: European Union Studies: French, Portuguese, Spanish or German Global Studies: French, Portuguese or Spanish In order to determine if you satisfy these curricular requirements and possess adequate personal preparation, the programme’s Teaching Committee will evaluate your undergraduate transcript of records and examine your CV. If it is unclear if the minimum curricular requirements have been fully met or if your personal preparation cannot be unequivocally assessed, the Teaching Committee reserves the right to conduct an integrative interview. PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

This programme is the only one in Italy focused on International Relations that provides you with a rich understanding of international law and economics while deepening your knowledge of languages and foreign cultures.

It immerses you in linguistic and cultural studies regarding Europe, Asia and the Atlantic world, something Ca’ Foscari has done since its founding in 1868, and empowers you to explore, understand and analyse international relations through juridical, economic, historical and political lenses. By the end of the programme, you will be able to fluently communicate in both English and a second language as well as elaborate coherent strategies aimed at solving problems on an international scale.

This programme offers two English-taught curricula, or study paths, from which to choose:

European Union Studies (EXPLORE THE STUDY PLAN)
Global Studies (EXPLORE THE STUDY PLAN)

This programme includes the following components:

curricular internship, which can be carried out in Italy or abroad
